My Mom and I went to Mexicali, Mexico in Feb. 2008 for lab-band surgery. We were both a little hesitant about getting "banned" in Mexico and especially by a Dr. we have never met. Our first impression of the hospital was great. It was very clean and the nurses who did our pre-op were very friendly! We felt very comfortable from the start. Dr. Aceves and his staff were amazing! I was personally visited by Dr. Aceves at least 4 times during my hospital stay and his assistants were in and out of my room, making sure I was comfortable and I had everything that I needed. I have been in the hospital in the states 6 different times having my babies and I never had the care I received by Dr. Aceves and his staff. I I would recommend Dr. Aceves and his wonderful staff to anyone!! Getting the lap band surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and having it done by Dr. Aceves was another! Thank you so much!
